With jobDB, NOA is giving organizations the power to drive digitization projects of all sizes, exactly the way they want and need. No process in jobDB is hard-coded. Every operation performed by the jobDB workflow engine is a customizable workflow, open to change.
jobDB is equipped with default workflow templates in Compact, Standard, and Extended grades addressing the typical needs of various clients. A workflow comprises tasks that are processed either by processors (such as transcoding, analyzing, rewrapping) or by humans (intellectual QC, metadata entries, carrier or document scanning, etc.).
Workflows are managed and driven by task parameters and shared parameters. Scaling workflows is achievable by adding new parameters, tasks,
loops, quality gates, approval steps, etc.
Customers are encouraged to maximize the potential of their operations by customizing the provided workflow templates to meet their specific requirements. Each workflow can be easily duplicated using the Workflow Template Designer and then modified.
jobDB offers multiple customizable dialogs for user interaction with workflows, which allow users to be presented only with information relevant to their task.
In jobDB ControlCenter, users are prompted with comprehensive and targeted "to do" task lists. In UniversalDialoguer, they are guided through workflows using scripted, wizard-like dialog windows.

DBScripter is part of the actLINE product family and is a script interpreter for executing scripts in NOA systems through a basic interpreter language and an embedded integrated development environment (IDE). Customers can use DBScripter scripts to perform tasks within workflows or for cyclic maintenance tasks.
CLIP is part of the actLINE product family and is capable of executing OS commands within a NOA workflow. This enables the integration of external scripts and many third-party command-line-supporting applications into NOA workflows with minimal effort while still maintaining full control over the workflow.
